The junior party planning meeting last week was a success, and quickly spun into a junior YEAR planning meeting! We brainstormed for an hour and emerged with many new ideas and thankfully, a date and place for the Junior Parent Party!
The Junior Class Parent Party will be Thursday, November 5 from 6pm-8pm at the home of Arthur and Michelle Fulmer. An evite, and formal invitation will follow with more details, but please SAVE THE DATE on your calendars!
We also decided that we would all like to get to know each other better, so we are planning a very low-key Junior Moms Lunch! We would like to do it once a month, but we will try out this first one and go from there. We jokingly said that we should call it the "I Know Something you Don't Know" lunch and have everyone bring one piece of information about our boys to swap since they tell us nothing! :)
Our first Junior Moms Lunch will be Thursday, October 22 from 1pm-2:30pm at Pyro's Pizza across the street from school (1199 Ridgeway Road). Come anytime between 1pm and 2:30pm, buy your own lunch and sit with everyone in the reserved back room. We want it to be easy and fun, and if you don't know many moms in our class - that's the PERFECT reason to come! No RSVP - just show up!
Reminder - There is one last "Evening with Colleges" event if your son has not yet attended one, and it is on Wednesday, October 21 at Hutchison from 7pm-8:30pm.
